I've been reading the reviews for the Sony Blu-Ray Players...the BDP-S350 and the BDP S550 and I don't like what I'm reading. Who makes a Blu-Ray Player that has all the bells and whistles we're used to? Like when you pause it and if it stops it returns to the same place where you left off. Or the display of the title and chapters. Or the ease in fast forward and rewind. And how about the zoom and fill the screen to avoid letter-boxing???? What deck does this? Did alot of comparison to this model and this one is great and really isn't that expensive. BEAUTIFUL picture and enhances old dvd's too of course not to "blue ray" standards but they still look great.

I purchase a Sonly BDPS550 1080; Blue-ray Player. It's great. The picture quality is awesome and I have been enjoying it. Only thing wrong is that I cannot download from Netflix. Other than that little bit, it's well worth the money.

This player I bought for my husband who is really into the latest audio home theater stuff... He loved it. But even more suprisingly... So did I !! It's easy to use... The loading time is very very fast... Only thing that could make of better would be if of came with it's own HDMI cable..Sony did a great job!!
